Galaxy Purpose Co-op Exclusive 2024 – FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions and by participating all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by them. Please retain a copy for your information.

The Promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering this promotion, you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy at https://www.mars.com/privacy and agree to these Terms and Conditions of the promotion. By submitting any information required as part of their participation into the campaign, participants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

 

  1. The promotion will run in participating Co-operative stores from 00:00:01 on 01.05.24 to midnight on 21.05.24

    GENERAL INFORMATION

  2. The Promoter is running an in-store promotion in participating Co-op Group stores to raise donations (the “Galaxy Purpose Co-Op Exclusive Donation to be paid to Young Women’s Trust, operating name of Charity Projects, a registered charity in England & Wales (217868). The Galaxy Purpose Co-Op Exclusive Donation will be made in addition to the Promoter’s donation of £150,000 made as part of the partnership with Young Women’s Trust.

  3. The Galaxy Purpose Co-Op Exclusive Donation is being paid to Young Women’s Trust to help support its goal of supporting young women around the UK.

  4. For every Galaxy branded chocolate product bought in a participating Co-op Group store between 1st and 21st May 2024, the Promoter will donate 2p to the Galaxy Purpose Co-Op Exclusive Fund, up to a maximum of £25,000.  Participating packs are as follows: Galaxy Ripple 30g, Galaxy Milk Std 42g, Galaxy Caramel 48g, Galaxy Milk 100g, Galaxy Caramel 135g, Galaxy Cookie Crumble 114g, Galaxy Salted Caramel 135g, Galaxy Mint 110g, Galaxy Minstrels Pouch 125g, Galaxy Counters Pouch 122g, Galaxy Milk. Only valid for in store purchases.

  5. A 2p donation will only be made in respect of a purchase of Galaxy branded chocolate listed in Section 4 above. No other products purchased in a participating Co-op Group stores will generate a 2p donation.

  6. Fund will be paid by the Promoter to Young Women’s Trust within 3 months from the end of the promotion.

  7. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or making the donation, the Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend the promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions where it becomes necessary to do so, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

  8. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated agents and companies will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate participants any other person (or their property) for any losses that may be incurred as a result of participating in the promotion.

  9. If any clause of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then it shall be deemed deleted from these Terms and Conditions. The remaining clauses shall be unaffected and remain in full force and effect.

  10. This promotion and these Terms and Conditions (and any disputes/claims arising out of or in connection with them) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties to any dispute or action shall submit to the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
